Incredible serenity, beautiful views - a lovely wee oasis away from the crowds

Drafty kitchen - expected being outdoors but perhaps a door between kitchen and toilet path would negate the breeze

Wonderful setting. Bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed and fully utilized the outside kitchen, shower and bath. The bath especially was a highlight; hot bath under the stars. Generous supply of goodies as well

It was amazing. The fresh bread from the famous french bakery and home made honey was delicious. Great quality coffee, free range eggs, real butter and more - all quality products. Awesome outdoor bath and shower. Very relaxing within a beautiful garden and birdlife. Clean and toilet was nove and close and clean also. Loved the outdoor kitchen. Very private. Friendly hosts too. We will be back.

My partner and I stayed at the Dolphin Lodge for a night, and we both agreed that it is hands-down the best place we have ever stayed! The garden and view are STUNNING, the room is so cozy, and the outdoor bath was incredible! Our highlight was the up-close encounters with local birds! Beautiful tui, kereru, bellbirds, quail and piwakawaka blessed us with visits throughout our stay. Holly and Ad were super hospitable hosts, leaving us fresh eggs and providing us with everything we needed for a delightful stay! We would 100% return and have already recommended the Dolphin Lodge to friends and whanau!
